£10,000 pledged towards the restoration of St Ernan’s

We are delighted to have received a pledge of £10,000 from the Hugh Fraser Foundation towards the next phase of our refurbishment project.

The pledge is subject to the remaining project funding being secured and the work proceeding as planned.

Our immediate priority is to make St Ernan’s wind and watertight, protecting the historic building and providing a strong foundation for its future development.

Alongside the Hugh Fraser Foundation pledge, we have submitted an application to Historic Environment Scotland and an Expression of Interest to the Crown Estate Community Grant.

Securing the funding required will take time, but this pledge represents an important step forward.
